En plein air workshop in the sanctuary of our peaceful, historic garden at Eldon House, 7 East Green Heighington Village, DL5 6PP

I will guide and support you to sketch and choose your composition. I paint primarily with watercolour inks and all of these materials are included ; I will demonstrate the possibilities of using these inks outdoors and support you to create your own unique works of art! You are also very welcome to bring your artistic medium of choice if you would prefer. 
Tea, coffee, cakes provided. Bring your own packed lunch. Microwave available.
In the afternoon you are welcome to continue with your final painting at your leisure in the garden alongside me. 
The garden is approximately one acre with the historic village boundary wall on one side and views over a stone balustrade to the fields and Cleveland hills. There are several interesting and historic outbuildings in the garden. Some of the garden is formally planted such as an azalea border with a variety of trees, plants and flowers ; other parts are rather wild and untouched! It offers a wealth of inspiration for painting.
The stone paths and some steps are uneven and slippery if wet so please come prepared in stout footwear, clothing for all weather and be extremely careful when exploring the garden. The workshop can go ahead whatever the weather as we can take photographs and set up insdoors :)
